SafeTelecom App Store
UPDATE: 7/21/2019 8:20PM EDT: We have worked out a solution for the current App Store glitches and hope to release a new system update to adress the problem. Please keep an eye out for our support email with instructions on how to download and apply the latest KosherOS update. 7/21/2019 11:02AM EDT: We are aware of a minor technical issue affecting our App Store for the Moto E and G series phones. The Moto X4 phones are not affected. Please bear with us as we work to resolve this issue.
The most current KosherOS version is dated May 30, 2019. If you're not on this version, please upgrade. To install system updates, go to the Settings app on your phone. Scroll down to the bottom entry labeled "About phone". On the top of the menu, click on "KosherOS Updates". On the top right of the updater screen, there will be a round arrow. Press that arrow to refresh the list of available updates. In the list of updates, you should see one dated May 30, 2019. To the right of that, there should be an icon of a down arrow. Press that arrow to download the update files. Please use a WiFi connection to download the update as the file size is very large. When that download is completed, the icon should change to a picture of a phone with a down-arrow inside. Please press it again to start applying the system update. Your phone will reboot and you should be on the latest KosherOS version.
Verizon Update (4/4/2019): We've tracked down most of the Verizon issues to a major change that has been implemented in their network in preparation for their transition to an LTE-only network. Most of the issues we've been seeing can now be resolved easily. As always, if you would like more information, please feel free to reach out to our support desk at [email protected] where we're equipped to answer your questions and concerns.
Effective immediately (3/25/2019), we are suspending all new Verizon sales from our website. Because of our commitment to providing great service, we are suspending these sales until it can be determined why Verizon is incorrectly activating our phones on their network. You may still be able to walk into one of our retailers to get Verizon service activated in person. Thank you for bearing with us while we get to the bottom of this.
International roaming via Verizon TravelPass is still in testing stages. At this time, we cannot guarantee compatibility in all countries through the TravelPass service. Verizon US coverage is fully operational. To use a Verizon phone internationally, our current recommendation is to rent or purchase a prepaid SIM card for your destination country. Our phones fully support swapping out the SIM card for international travel. For any more international info, feel free to contact us.
At the moment, we don't support Sprint or any Sprint-related carriers on our phones.
